Plans & pricing

Pricing is built around one number: monthly pageviews across all sites in your account. You pay more when you measure more traffic.

Free Trial

Every new account starts on a 30-day Free Trial, created automatically on signup. During the trial:

  • The full current feature set is available on every domain you add.
  • A pageview cap is in place, but it's generous and never blocks ingestion mid-month.
  • No payment method required.
  • The trial converts the moment you complete a Stripe Checkout. No awkward "downgrade then re-upgrade" step.

After 30 days the trial ends. If you haven't picked a paid plan, the account drops into a 60-day grace period. Tracking continues with limits applied, and the dashboard prompts you to upgrade. After grace expires, premium features lock until you subscribe.

Free Access (hobby)

Permanent free analytics for these kinds of project:

  • .edu domains. University courses, lab sites, student projects, faculty pages. Site URL must end in .edu.
  • .github.io domains. Open-source project pages and personal sites on GitHub Pages.
  • .gitlab.io domains. Open-source project pages and personal sites on GitLab Pages.

Free Access is per-site, not per-account. You can run a paid subscription for commercial sites and have a .edu, .github.io, or .gitlab.io site on free in the same account. Constraint: a hobby-tier pageview cap. Sites that consistently exceed it are asked to move to paid or split traffic.

Hobby install model

Hobby plans have no standalone tracker script. Analytics ship bundled inside one of the public widgets (live counter, globe, map, top countries). Pick the widget you want under Site settings → Widget and the dashboard generates the install snippet. The widget renders on the page and carries a small "Powered by Statable" attribution — that's the trade for unlimited free use.

Pageview-based ladders. The plan you pick determines your monthly pageview allowance. Exact tier numbers and prices are published on statable.com/pricing and the dashboard always reflects the latest pricing.

Two cadences:

  • Monthly. Billed every month, easy to cancel.
  • Yearly. Billed once a year, with a discount over 12 months of monthly billing. Exact discount is on the pricing page.

You can switch cadences any time via Stripe Checkout or the Billing Portal. The change is prorated.

Core features

Available on every paid plan today:

  • Cookieless tracking. No consent banner required for analytics in most jurisdictions.
  • Real-time dashboard. Visitors appear within seconds.
  • All reports. Traffic, sources, pages, devices, locations, technology, custom events, goals.
  • Custom events and goals. Track signups, downloads, video plays, anything.
  • GA4 import. Backfill historical data so the transition off Google is seamless.
  • Public dashboards. Share read-only stats with a tokenized link.
  • Embed widgets. Live counter, country map, globe, ready to drop into any site.
  • Multiple sites and shared access. Add sites and invite teammates within the limits of your plan.

Pageview overage

Statable does not hard-cut tracking when you cross your plan limit. The behavior is graceful:

  • Events keep flowing into the database. You don't lose data.
  • A banner shows your current usage versus your plan.
  • We email you at 80% and 100% of your tier.
  • If you stay over, the dashboard prompts you to upgrade. Sustained, large overages may trigger manual outreach. No surprise auto-upgrade, no automatic charge.

A traffic spike from a Hacker News front page should not punish you. Move tiers when traffic settles at the new level.

How to see your current plan

The dashboard shows your active plan, current period, and pageview usage at Settings → Plan & Billing. Click Change plan to see the available tiers with current pricing.
